  • Help with shopping
  • Delivering medicines
  • Telephone calls to the lonely or vulnerable or anyone needing a chat.

Local Volunteering

East Finchley Neighbourhood Support – a grassroots community group, originally formed by members of the East Finchley Community Facebook group – provides help for N2 residents with shopping, picking up prescriptions, dog walking etc. and provides a friendly ear on the end of the phone.

EFNS has partnered with The N2 Food Project to provide chilled meals to takeaway and reheat, for anyone who needs a helping hand – no referrals needed. The service operates from The Phoenix Cinema on Tuesday  mornings. Email EFNSfoodproject@gmail.com for details of how to volunteer.
